Overlaying costs by Groupby on the Business Mapping page
You can now use the new GroupBy option in Business Mapping to simplify cost allocation rules. Instead of defining a long list of individual accounts or services, group and split costs automatically based on actual usage by fields like Linked Account, Region, Service, Cloud Provider, Payer Account, Family Type, or Operation.
New fields for AWS and Azure on the Cost & Usage and Assets pages:
AWS:
- 'Commitment ARN' was added as a new filter field, allowing you to explore allocation and perform analysis for a specific Saving Plan or Reservation commitment.
- 'NFU' Usage measure: The usage is taken from 'lineItem/NormalizedUsageAmount' field in the CUR, which represents the following calculation: NormalizedUsageAmount=UsageAmount×NormalizationFactor
Azure: For FOCUS accounts, added the following 3 filter fields:
- Invoice ID
- Invoice Section ID
- Invoice Section Name
New Filter Mode on the Waste Detector
Choose between Recommendations or Invoice & Metadata filter modes for more control over your data view.
New Data in the Partner Billing Report (PDF)
Added Purchase Option classification (SP, RI, Spot, On-Demand) to the Partner billing PDF export. The report is available under the Partner section: Billing Status, Billing History, and Reports.
