Analytics - User Trend
Overview
The User Trends tab in AI Analytics shows how AI usage and cost evolve over time across all the AI providers connected to Umbrella - chat assistants, coding tools, office agents, and more. Use it to spot adoption trends, measure code productivity, and see early on whether AI spend is heading over budget, in one view regardless of which provider your teams use.
Why it matters
Point-in-time totals don't tell you whether adoption is growing, whether developers are actually keeping AI-generated code, or whether spend is on track for the month. User Trends puts usage, code quality, and cost side by side on a daily timeline so finance and engineering can read the same story.
Understand the panels
Usage KPIs - summary cards for the period (Total messages (chat), Artifacts Created, Code Accept Rate, Autonomy Ratio), each compared vs prev period.
Budget Used - total AI spend across providers in scope against the monthly budget set in User Activity tab, shown in Efficient, Fair, Review, and Over budget bands.

| Interactions, Thinking & Artifacts | Daily interactions, thinking messages, and artifacts created. |
| Lines Added / Removed | Daily lines of code added and removed by AI coding tools. |
| Overall Accept Rate | Daily share of AI code suggestions accepted. |
| Office Agent Messages | Daily messages sent through office agents. |
| Sessions & File Edits | Daily coding sessions, and how many included file edits. |
| Autonomy Ratio | Daily share of sessions where the AI worked with minimal user intervention. |
