The Resource Explorer page allows users to quickly search, filter, and analyze the cost of individual resources in their environment.

Search & Filter

Start typing at least 3 characters of a resource name or ID to see an auto-complete list of matching resources.

Select a resource from the list to view its cost and usage details.

Time Range & Resolution

• Select a custom time range (e.g., last 7 days, last month, or specific dates).
• Select the data resolution to control the granularity of the view: Daily/Weekly/Monthly.

Cost Breakdown

For the selected resource and time range, the page displays cost data broken down by:

• Instance Type: shows how costs are distributed across different instance types associated with the resource.
• Operation: shows costs grouped by the type of operation (e.g., read, write, compute, storage).

Summary Table

Below the charts, a summary table presents the cost per instance type/operation per date.
